Bush discusses crisis with British, French, German leaders

WASHINGTON, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President George W. Bush discussed the financial crisis with leaders of Britain, Germany, and France through telephone on Tuesday, the White House said.

During the telephone talks with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Bush discussed with them how to take coordinated action to deal with the current financial situation, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.

Bush has discussed the financial crisis with the European leaders after the crisis broke out.
